I LOVE LOVE LOVE photographing births. They are incredible. Full of emotion and joy and pain and there is ZERO staging….which I love! But…it gets even better when I get to photograph a fantastic friends birth!

And this was one of them! I love you Jazz! Congratulations on your new baby!!!

Katie is graduating!! I have known Katie since she was born…and her mom has known ME since I was born!
So this photo shoot was extra special! Plus, Katie and I are kindred spirits b.c she is all about photography and art…so I get her =)

Tom and Nicole were a HILARIOUS couple to be with. I had to regularly tell myself to stop laughing so I could consentrate on photographing!

But as you can see, Nicole is stunning too….

this little flower girl was HIL.AR.IOUS!!! She is running in this picture, muttering to herself “oh my goodness oh my goodness” b.c she couldn’t believe it was TIME!

Kelly and Mark

This is Mark and Kelly. Their wedding was pretty special to me b.c Mark was my diving coach in middle school! What?? You didn’t know I was a diver 20 years ago?? Well, I really wasn’t =) I was not any good….but not b.c of my coach!!

Well, I reconnected with him (and then his finace) on facebook which lead to me being able to photograph their wedding!
Gotta love facebook =)
Photographing them was kind of spectacular b.c they would just LOOK at eachother. There is an intensity in the way they look at eachother and you can just see that their love will last a lifetime!

When they asked me if I would photograph them at the fair, I wanted to SCREAM YES!!! After all, if you live in MN, you know how GREAT the fair is. So to follow around a couple in love and photograph them while enjoying the fair sounded FAN.TAS.TIC!

blog tours!

Last week I was able to follow 25 bloggers from all over the country tour a MN farm and factory. It was SO fun…all I “had” to do was follow them around, photographing everything they did! My type of day!!

First, we borded a bus….where they got to watch movies on the history of the farm

Then they toured the plant and were able to ask lots of questions abou the farm and plant

Since they were from all over the US, most of them had never been on a farm before…and growing up in MN, farms are left and right for me! SO, it was very interesting seeing a farm thru fresh eyes!

Then….oh, THEN we had the yummies best lunch I think I have EVER had! ….you see why I enjoyed this day so much!

and they were my kind of girls….b.c they took pictures of EVERYTHING!

and almost ALL of them took sweet corn home!!

It truly was a fantastic day! Thank you ladies for letting me join you on your tour!
